Team Iron Claw 972 is the student-led robotics team at Los Gatos High School. We compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC).
Programming team members write the Java code that gets our robots moving using industry software tools like Git and Eclipse.
Assembly team members construct, test, and repair our robots’ mechanisms using in-house manufactured parts.
CAD team members use SolidWorks to model robots parts and assemblies, providing plans for us to base our creations off of.
Manufacturing team members use our shop facilities to manufacture custom parts out of metals, woods, and plastics.
Electrical team members analyze and assemble electronics to bridge the programming and mechanical components of our robots.
Everyone in Team 972 carries out responsibilities necessary for our team to succeed, including outreach, fundraising, finance, and organization.
